How it works

Set up in an afternoon.
Never think about it again.

From your website to your first automatic story, in six steps. We walk through each one with you during setup, and everything you decide can be changed later by replying to any Dayposter email.

01

Type your website.

We find your booking page on it and read your public schedule: class names, times, and instructors. There's no password, no staff login, and no API key. Type your website on the homepage, or paste your booking page, and your own story comes back in about ten seconds, free, before you sign up for anything. It works with Momence, Mindbody, and Mariana Tek, with more on the way. Something else? Type it anyway and we'll take a look.

02

Pick a design.

Choose from twenty designs, from quiet and editorial to photo-led. Each one is shown with your real schedule already in it, so you're choosing between finished stories, not blank templates. Switching later is one reply, not a project.

03

Make it yours.

Dayposter reads your website and proposes your colors and type. You confirm, adjust anything, add your logo, and add brand photos if you'd like them. Instructor photos come from your booking profiles. Then the settings: short class names, how substitutes are marked, which classes never appear, your days off, your post time, when the evening preview arrives and who receives it, and what happens when the schedule changes after you've approved a preview: Hold for me, or Auto. Set it once and every story carries your brand from then on.

04

Connect Instagram.

You approve Dayposter on Instagram's own screens, through the official API. It takes about three minutes, and you can revoke it whenever you like. You need an Instagram Business account linked to a Facebook Page; on a personal or creator account, or without a Page yet, the switch is free, takes a few minutes in the Instagram app, and we walk you through it.

05

Subscribe.

A Stripe checkout page, in the last step of setup. $45 a month, or $25 a month locked for the first fifteen businesses. Month to month, cancel any time. Your card details go to Stripe, not to us.

06

It posts every day.

From that night on, you see the story each evening and it posts at midnight, with today's schedule first and tomorrow's right behind it. Instructors, times, and subs are marked. Cancelled classes are gone. You never have to make or remember the post again.

You see it first.
Then it posts itself.

8:00 pm

The preview.

Tomorrow's story reaches you by email, exactly as it will post. Four links: Looks good, Skip, Pause, Stop. Do nothing and it posts on time. Reply in plain English to change something, and it's fixed within minutes.

11:59 pm

The re-check.

Right before posting, Dayposter re-reads your schedule and updates the story: subs marked, cancellations removed, added classes in. This check always runs, and cancelled classes are removed no matter what. For any other change that arrives after you've approved, your setting decides. Hold for me: nothing posts until you tap OK, and if we don't hear from you in time, the day skips. Auto: the updated story posts on time.

12:00 am

The post.

Today's schedule goes up as a story on your Instagram, with tomorrow's right behind it, as a full-size 1080 by 1920 image. The stop flag is read one last time first. A story lasts 24 hours, so posting at midnight puts the day's schedule up before anyone wakes and keeps it accurate until the day ends. Prefer another time? Set any time you like.

Change anything
by replying.

Nothing to install, nothing to log into. Every setting is chosen once during setup and changed any time by replying to any Dayposter email in plain English: rename a class, mark a sub differently, move the post time, add a day off, switch designs, swap a photo. The change is made, tonight's story is rendered again, and you get the result back. Pause and resume the same way, or with the links in every email.

If something breaks,
you hear from us first.

If a post fails, we retry. If it still fails, we're alerted and we make it right that morning. If a day has no classes, or your booking page can't be read, we skip the day rather than post something wrong. Nothing ever posts without a preview having gone out first. And if your Instagram connection expires, posting pauses and you get one email with one re-connect link. Silence is never how you find out.
